The Office of Chief Medical Examiner (OCME) performs forensic investigations including death investigations and DNA identification. OCME's racial equity goals focus on ensuring equitable, culturally competent, and respectful death investigation services for all families; improving data collection and disaggregation; addressing workforce diversity; and engaging communities of color in outreach about OCME's services and processes.
