Mission & Commitment

The Department of Citywide Administrative Services (DCAS) manages the City's workforce, real estate, and procurement. DCAS's racial equity goals include building knowledge and capacity of agency employees, including supervisory and managerial employees, to identify, respond to, and combat racism and racial discrimination in the workplace; advancing pay equity across all City roles; expanding M/WBE participation; and implementing structured interview practices across City agencies.

Short-Term Goals

Deepen M/WBE vendor outreach and engagement efforts to enhance their capacity to participate in contracting opportunities. DCAS will continue to implement and evaluate goals going forward to ensure they are consistent with federal, state and local law
